Multi-tasking and re-using

When our dog was just a wee cheeky pup (who love to chew everything in sight) she ruined all the covers on the outdoor chairs.

When I was cleaning out the linen cupboard I found this old green bedspread. I haven't used it on the bed for years because although the fabric is still mostly in good condition it had a couple of rips in the corner.
So I decide to recover the cushions with it.

This is the bit where I multi-task! Sewing and breast-feeding at the same time:)

Now, it's not a proffessional job, I was having trouble sewing straight;) but they look heaps better and should get a couple more years out of them. Considering both chairs were from the local dump they are not doing to badly in the lasting for ages stakes.

This is the other chair, minus the back cushion, which the dog had totally chewed to bits...

What a lovely blog. You have a great life over there. I love all of the photo too: your land, your creek, garden and your natural breast feeding ways too. I look forward to reading more about your family.

Take care John

Turned out great! It never ceases to amaze me just how many random things you can do while nursing! And ... it surely always makes a good story :)

I have plans to do similar with the outdoor cushions with a bed sheet I bought from vinnies. Love the breastfeeding while sewing. I will attempt this next time the 2 coincide... Love the sewing job too! Life is too precious to worry about sewing straight !!! ( how else do we make it look homemade)

hi everyone. I'm honestly into shoes and I have been looking for the sake of that particular make. The prices seeking the shoes were approximately 350 pounds everwhere. But completely I found this location selling them someone is concerned half price. I in reality love those gucci sneakers. I will absolutely purchase those. what is your opinion?
