No rest for the busy...

I haven't been posting as regularly lately because we've been so busy. Peace has been working less so we've had more time for family outings and more time to do things around here.
Last week we made a trip down to the beach before the weather gets too cold. (Well it's never really that cold on the beach here but for us acclimatised people we do really feel winter)
My little monkey Mr T just can't help himself...even in shopping center car parks he'll climb a likely tree if he spy's one.

Me and my Tui leaning on that very same tree. And yes, she does have a bare-bum in public. Sometimes it's easy being an EC'er. (elimination Communication) But sometimes you get funny looks by passersby. We were on our way to the beach!

And Tui loved the sand; so easy to dig. We dug a giant swimming pool.

Look at that cute bambina body...

And the water was looking spectacular.

Saturday we went to watch my Dad paddle in the Australian title Dragon Boat races. An caught up with my Aunty I hadn't seen for four years and met my two second cousins.

The girls watching the races...
And I've been sewing. A new dress for Tui, skirts for Rain, repairing all the boys stuff (gee they know how to work their clothing!!!) and lining the curtains (hopefully might make the house a little bit warmer this winter).
Sunday we went rock climbing and had a picnic up Mt Tinbeerwah and then went to a reggae and Dub afternoon at Doonan.
Monday was a homeschooling gathering (Rain made a new friend, and the food at these things is always so nummy).
So now I'm looking forward to a few quiet days at home...
