Rainbow Country

I have just got back from a couple of days away with the kids. We went down to NSW and stayed just inland from Byron Bay. We spent a couple of nights at the Rainbow Temple, an amazing place built by an amazing man. It is built in the middle of the rain forest and is such a beautiful peaceful place to be.

I love how the trees are growing up through the various buildings.

While we were down there we caught up with some friends and hung out with some other unschooling families.
Feeling very relaxed after a few days away.

A little trip

We're off on a little camping holiday tomorrow. I'm so excited, it seems like ages since we have gone away. The kids ae all excited too.
And being organized for once I've even got around to making up a "car bag". What's a car bag I hear you asking???
A bag that I put suggestion for games in, tokens for treats, jokes and mazes and puzzles that I print off. Every time I've actually gotten around to doing this the car trip has gone soooooo much smoother.

See you all next week :)))

Out and about

It has been a busy time here at Rainbow Love farm. Last week we went on a lovely holiday to The Lamington National Park in the Gold Coast Hinterland. Here are some happy snaps

Ahhh......

What a relaxing break! We are back from our holiday and the time away was nectar for the soul. The place we stayed at, Cainbabel Cottages, had the most magical view.

A short walk above the cottage was this look out.

We went exploring in the Lamington National Park.

Tui was fascinated by the brush Turkeys

The children loved the reptile show. They got to hold a blue tongue lizard...

...a bearded dragon

and a carpet python.

This one was curious what was in Zan's pocket...

They fed the Native birds.

I think this one surprised Mr T when it landed on his head.

He has been practising his photography ;)

The sunsets were amazing
